Pakistan 50th Anniversary Fund 2016 UK Master Scholarship

University of Strathclyde is offering Pakistan 50th Anniversary Fund for the 2016-2017 academic session. The scholarship is available for Pakistan nationals to pursue one-year MSc programme.
The aim of the Fund is to provide an opportunity for well qualified Pakistani nationals who do not have the financial means to pursue a one-year MSc in the UK. University of Strathclyde began in 1796 when John Anderson, Professor of Natural Philosophy at Glasgow University, left instructions in his will for ‘a place of useful learning’ – a university open to everyone. University of Strathclyde wants to increase opportunities for people from every background. University of Strathclyde select students based on merit, potential and the ability to benefit from the education they offer.
In order to undertake a programme of study here at the University, candidate must have a First-class Honours degree from a recognized Pakistan university. English Language Requirements: IELTS is the most widely available, and current standard requirements are: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no individual band less than 5.
Course Level: Scholarships are available to Pakistani students accepted on a full-time Master’s degree programme in any subject offered by the University starting in 2016-2017.
Study Subject: There are 153 postgraduate taught courses at University of Strathclyde covering a large number of subject areas. List of subjects: Scholarship is awarded for studying all the subjects. Priority will be given to subjects in the areas of engineering, science, technology and business management or any other subject which cannot be pursued adequately in Pakistan.
Scholarship Award: The scholarship will meet full costs of the candidate’s study in Scotland, including travel to Glasgow and return home, maintenance and other allowances. No additional allowances will be paid for a spouse or other dependents.

Eligibility: The Scholarship is open to Pakistan nationals for one-year taught masters course.In order to apply for scholarship, you must follow the given criteria. Candidates: -must have already qualified for their degree at the time of application and must have a First-class Honours degree from a recognised Pakistan university
-are unable to pay to study in the UK. Sufficient evidence of financial need must be provided
-must be in their home country at the time of application -should have relevant work experience and have not previously studied in the UK-must return to Pakistan at the end of their studies and work there for 5 years|-must be sufficiently fluent in written and oral English to pursue their proposed studies immediately.
Nationality: Pakistan nationals can apply for these scholarships.
