Travel Guidelines for the students coming for the first time in Korea
Here are some important guidelines you have to follow during your overall traveling.
1. You should have 20Kg or 30kg main luggage bag and about 8 Kg hand carry bag. (Two to three Kg overall increase in total luggage is ok.
2. Do not put liquid materials even tooth paste or creams in your hand carry.
3. Keep all your travelling documents including passport, ticket, national ID card, admission documents and your academic original documents with you and do not put in main bag.
4. Passport and ticket should be with you in pocket throughout as you will have to show it on all passports check points.
5. Try to avoid any metallic things in your pocket and hand carry.
6. You should have a very little (500-1000 Rs) in pocket that you can use on airport in case of trouble.
7. It’s not really needed to make plastic covering on your bag as it is offered in airport for about 200-300 Rs, however if you do so it is OK.
8. Take some money in dollars but do not show or give in any case to staff at airport.
9. Do not forget to bring some sweets. (Not mandatory). And make sure that the sweets are of good quality.
During travelling
1. You will have to travel with your hand carry any where you go.
2. Try to reach the airport 3 hours before your flight and get enter at least two hours before for checking.
3. You will receive another original ticket (boarding pass) at airport. Keep that with you in your pocket.
4. Whence your flight enter in Korea you would be provided with some forms to fill including custom, health and your entry proof in Korea which must be filled and should submit while immigration on incheon airport.
5. Do not write ever that you are sick or you have any edible things/medicine in you baggage.
6. After reaching Incheon airport (Korea) you will first collect your luggage.  You can find it by from your flight number. As all the luggage will be circulating and people will be collecting there ones.
7. Then you should change 200 USD to Korean won that will be used for your bus ticket and for later use in korea.
8. Before coming out of the gate you will find a ticketing corner near the gate. Take ticket for your respective city. Staff there know english so you can ask them for ticket in english.
9. Bus number and stop number (9/10) will be written on the ticket. After coming out from airport you have just to cross the road to find your bus terminal.
10. Ask freely the people showing them your bus tickets, they will guide you to the stop (If any problem).
11. Time will be on the ticket, so you should hurry up to reach the bus. In case you missed the bus, then you can change the ticket at same counter (however you will not miss it).
12. Call the person who will welcome you on bus station of your respective city to inform him/her about your travelling time.
13. You can ask anyone to dial the number for you from their mobile phones, they will definitely help.
14. Keep the cell number with you on a paper in your pocket.
15. The bus will stop after two hr in for 10/15 mints. You can go to washroom near there. But be in time to reach back you bus. You can call from the bus using the cell phone of your bus mates. Call is important so one can judge your time of arrival.
