Job description:
Elementary Particle Physics/High Physics group at Hanyang University led by Prof. Tae Jeong Kim consists of one professor and one postdoc. The research in this group is based on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN located on the border between Switzerland and France near Geneva. The research is performed through international collaboration mostly. The main research interest is top quark physics. The group plays a leading role in this area.

Our group is now seeking one or two Ph.D students. A potential topic would be flavor changing neutral current searches in top quark decay or new physics searches (or dark matter) in association with a top quark pair production. During the Ph.D program(4-5 years), the minimum salary is 1,200,000 KRW per month.
For the technical training and international collaborative work, the successful candidates will be offered to travel to CERN and to participate in international conferences.
