The International University of Japan is giving away a chance to get a scholarship in Japan. The applications for the scholarship is open for international students entering the university for any masters degree program.
The JERA Asia Scholarship is introduced with an aim to encourage the development of talented people who will contribute to the future economic development of Asian countries.
International University of Japan
The International University of Japan is a private university based in Minamiuonuma, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. It is the first graduate school in Japan and one of the few Japanese universities to offer all courses in English. It was founded in 1982. The IUJ offers a Master’s degree in International Development, Finance, Public Policy and International Affairs as well as an MBA in Business Administration.

- The applicant must apply for study in a masters degree in the university.

How to Apply for the Scholarship
For applying to these scholarships, the applicant is needed to follow these steps:
Step 1: Apply for Admission
To apply, applicants are requested to take admission in master’s degree program at the International University of Japan. You must apply before the closing date.
Step 2: Apply for a Scholarship
IUJ will submit scholarship application documents to those who have expressed an interest in applying for a scholarship in their application for admission.
Step 3: Submit Required Documents

- School transcripts already available
- Transcripts from prior school (only if requested)
- Post-Secondary Transcription
- Official survey results

Entry Requirements
- Applicants must meet the general country/study curriculum entry requirement.
- You must demonstrate English language skills and meet the general admission criteria following the country/curriculum in which you studied.
- Complete your online application. Personal Statements and Research.
- Personal Statement and Study Topic.
- Two Recommendation Letters.
- TOEFL, IELTS or TOEIC Score Report.
- GMAT or GRE Score Report.
Visa Requirements
You are expected to have a valid passport and student visa to attend the IUJ from abroad. It would help if you acquired a passport on your own, and your passport must be valid for at least six months after you arrive in Japan. If this is not the case, please have it extended or apply for a new one.
