International Automatic Entrance Scholarships at York University, Canada

International secondary school students are invited to apply for the Automatic Entrance Scholarships administrated by York University in Canada. These opportunities are available for the academic year 2021-2022.

The grants are available for high performing international students who want to pursue an undergraduate degree program at York University. The scholarship will be provided on basis of the average percentage.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • The candidate must be an international student.
  • International secondary school students are in the process of completing their secondary school diploma.
  • Identified scholars from select high schools from around the world will be considered for these awards at the discretion of York.
  • Students must be carrying out their studies at a Canadian secondary school.
  • Candidates are applying to a direct-entry undergraduate program.
  • Recipients must be maintained a minimum 8.00 sessional grade point average and enrol in a minimum of 24 credits for their first Fall/Winter academic year to qualify for the second year renewal.
  • Students with disabilities must be maintained 95%+ may renew this scholarship and a min 8.00 GPA over a minimum 40% course load (6 credits per term).
  • Students must be self-identify and show proof of disability for the first time of renewal.
  • At the time of admission, a conditional scholarship offer will be made.

  • The successful applicant will receive a Scholarship based on an excellent average percentage:
  • 95% and higher = $4000;
  • 90 – 94.9% = $2500;
  • 85% – 89.9% = $1500;
  • 80% – 84.9% = $1000.
  • The grant is renewable for students admitted with a final average of 95%+ only.
