FAST PhD Fellowships
It is our pleasure to announce that FAST-National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences has approved 20 PhD Fellowships for the year 2016-2017 with monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000, subject to regulations of the University for PhD students of Faculties of Computing, Engineering and Management Sciences.
The aim is to establish a strong PhD program that attracts bright students from all over Pakistan. FAST-NU PhD scholarships shall demonstrate commitment by FAST-NU for the promotion of its PhD programs by removing financial impediments faced by talented but indigent students.
Scholarship
The selected scholars shall receive an amount of Rs 60,000 per month in addition to full tuition fee waiver. The duration of scholarship shall be three years and may be extended for a maximum of one year by the BASR (Board of Advance Study and Research). In return, the scholar shall be expected to teach one course to a section of undergraduate students.
The department shall receive an amount of Rs 100,000 per annum for purchase of equipment, books or to cover research publication expenses.
Eligibility
The eligibility for this scholarship must fulfill all of the following conditions:
a) Minimum CGPA of 3.00 in Bachelor degree (earned after at least 16 years of education)
b) Minimum CGPA of 3.30 in MS or an equivalent degree
c) Passed Subject test of Local GAT or International GRE (minimum 70 percentile)

To be considered for the fellowship send an email (Cover Letter) to Graduate Study Committee (GSC) heads of the concerned campus and mention that you are interested in the FAST PhD fellowship.
