100 Fully Funded Rhodes Scholarships for International Students, UK

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a student from one of the countries listed above.
  • Each applicant must fulfil the Rhodes constituency’s citizenship and residency criteria for which they apply.
  • All applicants must have attained a sufficiently advanced academic status to ensure that a bachelor’s degree is completed by the October after the election.
  • Academic standing must be high enough to ensure admission to Oxford University, which has very competitive entry requirements, and to give confidence that Rhodes Scholars will perform to a high academic standard in Oxford.
  • Individual constituencies may specify an equivalent or an initial. Some constituencies require a degree of undergraduate to have been taken within the application constituency.
  • Eligibility criteria are different for candidates according to their country.

The scholarships will be awarded as follow:

  • A Rhodes Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship.
  • It covers all University and College fees; the University application fee.
  • A living stipend (£15,144 per annum)
  • One economy class airfare to Oxford at the start of the Scholarship and one economy flight back to the student’s home country at the conclusion of the Scholarship.
  • The basic term of the Scholarship is two years, subject to adequate academic performance and personal behaviour always and at all times.
