Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a student from one of the countries listed above.
- Each applicant must fulfil the Rhodes constituency’s citizenship and residency criteria for which they apply.
- All applicants must have attained a sufficiently advanced academic status to ensure that a bachelor’s degree is completed by the October after the election.
- Academic standing must be high enough to ensure admission to Oxford University, which has very competitive entry requirements, and to give confidence that Rhodes Scholars will perform to a high academic standard in Oxford.
- Individual constituencies may specify an equivalent or an initial. Some constituencies require a degree of undergraduate to have been taken within the application constituency.

The scholarships will be awarded as follow:
- A Rhodes Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship.
- It covers all University and College fees; the University application fee.
- A living stipend (£15,144 per annum)
- One economy class airfare to Oxford at the start of the Scholarship and one economy flight back to the student’s home country at the conclusion of the Scholarship.
- The basic term of the Scholarship is two years, subject to adequate academic performance and personal behaviour always and at all times.

Visa Requirements
As an international student (non-EEA / Swiss) coming to the University to study a full-time course of more than six months, you must apply for a Tier 4 (General) Student visa before you arrive in the UK to start your course. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to enter the UK.
