The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) is proud to have established an international reputation as one of the top Computer Science and Computer Engineering departments globally. SCSE invites qualified academics who possess a PhD in related disciplines to apply for a number of tenure-track and tenure positions at all levels in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. We seek individuals with exceptional promise for or a proven record of research achievements within their chosen field of research. They should also be able to demonstrate strong ability for good undergraduate and graduate level teaching. Candidates must have vision and an interest in defining the research frontier as well as educating our next-generation of young leaders in this rapidly evolving field. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to combine theoretical knowledge with practical development of computational solutions and systems within one of the following, or closely related areas:
Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Agents and Optimization: Machine intelligence, autonomous and adaptive systems, cognitive systems, neural computing, evolutionary systems.
Cyber Security:  Cyber security, computer and systems security, system resilience, cyber threat analytics, software and application security, identification and authentication.
High Performance and Custom Computing Systems: Custom computing architectures, reconfigurable and GPU computing, neuromorphic and high performance architectures and systems, electronic design automation for architecture-aware synthesis, operating systems.
Machine Learning and Data Analytics: Big data analytics, machine learning, data science, social media analytics, predictive modeling, high dimensional data mining, video and visual analytics, data visualization, human computer interaction, robotics.
SCSE’s current research areas of interest include Big Data Analytics, Cyber Security, Future Healthcare, Digital Economy, Sustainability Informatics and Urban Mobility.
