The application meets the minimum institutional requirements and will be referred to the relevant school and program for further assessment and final decision.
The application meets most of the minimum institutional requirements but falls moderately short of meeting some aspects of the academic or language requirements. The applicant is advised to apply again within a specified period, if he/she can provide evidence that the identified shortcoming has been addressed. If the applicant cannot meet these requirements before the deadline they will not be referred to the relevant school and program.
The application does not meet the minimum institutional requirements and will not be considered for further assessment.
Stage 2- Admissions procedures at the School and program level:
If the applicant passes the Institute level assessment, they will be referred to the relevant school and program for further assessment, by the School’s admissions committee, which chooses qualified candidates and moves them onto the next assessment stage, based on their academic achievements. Assessment at this stage focuses on the applicant’s depth and breadth of knowledge and understanding of the program applied for, intellectual potential, curiosity and capacity for critical analytical thinking and scholarly exploration and the ability to dialog and to articulate and communicate academic concepts, questions and ideas verbally and in written form.
