An immediate PhD position is available (starting from March 01, 2017) in our university at Ajou University Suwon-si to work in experimental section of our laboratory in the area of stem cells and/or innate immunity. Candidate will be engaged in cloning and expression of genes, human and mouse cell culturing, western blot, RNAi treatment of cells, RT(q)-PCR, confocal microscopy, immunoprecipitation, potential compound testing and evaluation, and/or bacterial culture related activities.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The candidate must hold a Master or equivalent degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology or any relevant field. He/she must know the theory behind the basic techniques, should be familiar with the practical handling of lab related equipment, and can be able to apply statistical tests. He/she must be enthusiastic to pursue higher degree in life sciences, should be a good team member, must have excellent communication and writing skills in English (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent TOEFL is a must). Working Knowledge of Korean language is a plus (though not mandatory).
