Twenty Five Postgraduate Merit Scholarships, comprising a partial fee waiver (value: €2,750), are available. These scholarships are aimed at taught postgraduate programmes in all areas of the NUI Galway curriculum, commencing September 2016.
Our Postgraduate Merit Scholarship Scheme is now open for applications and we will award the first round of scholarship (10 awards) in March 2016. Further rounds of scholarship awards will follow in April and May.
How To Apply:
Application for Admission to NUI Galway
Applicant applies for admission to one or more eligible programmes (listed above) via www.pac.ie. You must be in receipt of an offer for one of our Taught Masters Programme in order to apply for a Postgraduate Merit Scholarship.
Scholarship Application
In order to apply please forward a personal statement (not more than 600 words) indicating your reasons for choosing your course and NUI Galway. Please include the title of the scholarship scheme your are applying for in the subject of your e-mail and also your PAC application number (for example – Postgraduate Merit Scholarship, PAC application no. 16000000). You should submit your scholarship application to [email protected]
You should receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your Scholarship application – if you have not had a response within 5 working days please let us know.
Scholarship Award Notification
Successful candidates will be selected on merit and the personal statement submitted.
We will award the first round scholarships in March 2016, so sucessful scholarship applicants will be notified by Thursday 31st March 2016. There will be further rounds of scholarship in April and May 2016.
