- You are a dual American citizen who has received most of your secondary education outside the United States.
- Must be currently in the United States on a non-immigrant visa.
- Must intend to enter the United States with a student (F-1 or J-1) visa.
- Lawrence accepts transfer applications from students who have attempted 12 or more college credits post-high school graduation or associate science or arts.

Entry Requirements
- Aspirants must meet the general country or study curriculum entry requirement.
- Aspirants must demonstrate English language skills and meet the general admission criteria following the country/curriculum you studied.
- The average GPA at Lawrence University is 3.46. With a GPA of 3.46, Lawrence University requires students to be around average in their high school class. Students will need a mix of A’s and B’s and very few C’s. If you have a lower GPA, you can compensate with more challenging courses like AP or IB classes.
Visa Requirements
Once you have been accepted to St. Lawrence University and have finished all the necessary documents, I-20 will be given to you. You will file your VISA application after you get your I-20. Students who have a valid F-1 visa from a previous school may be eligible to apply for the same visa. When you’re travelling to the U.S., take the I-20 of your old school with you as well.
