Keele University
Keele University is known as a public research university in Keele. It was granted university status by Royal Charter in 1962 and was founded in 1949 as the University College of North Staffordshire. The university’s School of Medicine operates the clinical part of its courses from a separate campus at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. The School of Nursing and Midwifery is located at the nearby Clinical Education Centre.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must meet up with the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:
- The aspirant must be an international student.
- Must be enrolled international students who have achieved the following undergraduate awards in their undergraduate study will automatically be awarded the scholarship as a tuition fee discount:
- Students progressing from the Keele International Study Centre Pre-Masters Programme will also be eligible for the scholarship award based on their undergraduate qualification.
- The Scholarship is for students based at Keele University and starts their studies in September 2020 or 2021, or January 2021 or 2022.

How to Apply for the Scholarship
For applying to the scholarships, candidates are needed to follow these steps:
Step 1: Apply for Admission
International candidates holding offers for selected postgraduate programmes will automatically be considered for the Keele International Excellence Scholarship when we assess your application. Students don’t need to submit a separate application for the award.

Entry Requirements
- Aspirants must meet the general country/study curriculum entry requirement.
- Students must demonstrate English language skills and meet the general admission criteria following the country/curriculum you studied.
- CGPA 4.5 in higher senior secondary school certificate or A level at required grades. 2 AP’s at step 3 or 2 SAT subjects at 500 marks or ACT 21.
Visa Requirements
If applicants are a non EEA* international student they will most likely need a Visa known as ‘Entry Clearance’ to study in the UK. Depending upon the length of the course students are undertaking at Keele; they will need to either apply for a Tier 4 (General) visa or a Short Term Study Visa. For the most part, students studying over six months in the UK will need a Tier 4 Visa, with students studying under six months in the UK can check on a Short Term Study Visa or Electronic Visa Waiver;
