What are ISF’s Goals?
1. Increase number of Muslim students graduating in ISF supported fields of study.
2. Increase number of Muslims obtaining jobs in public policy and public opinion shaping professions.
How many scholarships will ISF award in 2016 and what are the amounts?
For the last 7 years, ISF has awarded 160 students nearly half a million dollars. in 2015, we awarded $140,500 in scholarships and film grants. Our goal is to award 40-50 scholarships in 2015 ranging from $2,000-$5000.
What is the scholarship program timeline?
ISF accepts applications in November for a period of 5 months. The deadline to submit a complete application is March 21st. The Selection Committee will review applications from April-May.
All applicants will be notified of the results by the second week of June and finalist will be scheduled for remote interviews. Interviews will be held in June.
The final announcement will be made in early July and award checks will be sent out shortly after that.
